I got the sum I wanted wrong 11 is hard

It's possible to make the numbers 1-30 using four fours and mathematical symbols. None of the symbols can included a number. You must use all four fours each time.So;
4+4+4-4=8

ok lets have a go
4/4x4/4=1
4/4+4/4=2
(4+4+4)/4=3
(4-4)x4+4=4
(4x4+4)/4=5
sqrt(4)+4-4+4=6 <--- is this allowed? Technically square root symbol does not contain a number but it should really
4+4-4/4=7
4+4+4-4=8
4+4+4/4=9

i can't get rid of the extra 4 for 44/4=11
4!-4-4-4=12

10 could be 4 x (sqrt4) + 4/(sqrt4)
11 is 4^(sqrt4) -4 - (sqrt4)

Can't be bothered to do any more but I don't think you can do it without square root symbols. Tried it with factorials but couldn't get 11.
