I think that’s our best team. de Bruyne is our best player but I think that unit is best.
We usually line up like:
Haaland KDB
Foden Gündogan Rodri Bernardo
Cancelo Laporte Stones Walker
Ederson
This leaves Álvarez fighting with our 2 best players to play in his natural game/ position. His best position imo is in the KDB role with Haaland in front of him. I agree that we basically can’t fit all 3 in the side and be at our most effective. Kev could play deeper into perhaps but we would lose solidity and control.Foden Gündogan Rodri Bernardo

We lost against Brentford because the players were mincing around the pitch for 90 minutes hoping not to get injured for this stupid friggin tournament.It's been a fantastic tournament. To be fair, it was none too shabby.
I have just seen the replay on ITV - to be fair it was pretty good.
City should definitely start making noises that they want to sign this Messi lad on £600k a week and whatever PSG value him at.
Then sit back and watch United offer slightly more in transfer value & £650k and we can fook them up for another two years!

Yeah 74 and 78 had those second group stages but they were still one off games in the penultimate round of the tournament.Sorry I’m calling bullshit on 1978, there wasn’t any semi finals. it was some daft group thing and Argentina qualified after beating Peru (I think ) 600-0 in a game that wasn’t rigged.
