1950 didn't even have a final. It just turned out that the last scheduled game was effectively a winner takes all ... aka a final. FIFA eh.I don’t recall the 74 WC apart from seeing highlights of the final years later. In 82 there was also some daft league for the second phase with England going out without losing a game. But they did have semi’s.
