It’s just me but my midfield would have Enzo and Parades as he has legs but also knows how to keep the ball.

Martinez is someone that likes to drop deep. Plus, he doesn’t exactly do the pressing like Julian. If you want Messi to walk, you need to make sure he has legs around him, keep him further up and have players that can actually keep and carry the ball from midfield.

I was surprised paredes wasnt playing. I agree with you, enzo and paredes are quality. Amazing how they looked transformed when they brought some legs on.

Always felt sorry for him after his injury that it never worked out he sadly just wasn't good enough for us even back then, but I liked him purely for the fact the he paid a lot towards his own loan fee here showed how much he wanted it.

He only retired aged 30, 6 years after Shakhtar paid €20m for him. Madness really, I remember being buzzing he’d signed.
