Strange game.

Prior to conceding, Argentina looked great going forward except that they were always offside (a couple of times, fractionally so). After conceding the second, I can't remember them even putting the ball into the back of the net once, offside or not.

Kudos to Saudi Arabia. They played extremely well - probably a one-off - but I wouldn't be confident of beating them were I Mexico or Poland.

Probably that was the best line management ever from an Asian side in a WC, it reminded me of demichelis, he was really good at line management and inducing offsides, this could well be a one off but this victory will do wonders for the game in the whole region, the scale of this win can be gauged by the fact that Saudi Arabia is celebrating a national holiday today to honor the victory. Hopefully they can follow it up with good performances
