Messi....absolute beast for barca, somewhat of a pussycat for the argentine national team

Does the burden of that maradona no.10 shirt weigh heavy on his shoulders? Everytime i have watched him play for argentina he has failed to light the game up, to the standard grown accustomed to over the many years plying his trade in catalonia

This was supposed to be the best argy team built around messi, for him to perform at his peak

Saudi's were bloody brilliant

I'm more concerned they are playing even more minutes when they are already at breaking point coming in and going out of the tournament. second half of the domestic season is going to be carnage because of this quite frankly riduclous world cup.

Understandable concerns. Truly. However, let’s say this new directive is then implemented across all leagues after the WC, coaches and clubs will have to let their players know, ‘stop faffing around and get the game done asap’.
