The shouting and balling seems to pass over him as he really concentrates on the game. He did ask a coupke of times "why is everyone looking over there " (towards away fans) which led to a long winded and little understood explanation about away supporters....
i cant start a topic yet but wanted to know this, my lad is 2 soon and wanna take him along, are they allowed in free at that age, and do the club have any policy on this? thanks
p.s. he doesnt swear that much

I've taken him 5 times this season and just carried him through the turnstile without a ticket and he's sat on my knee.
I phoned the club trying to move my ticket for the Chelsea game to the family stand and in the process buy him a ticket as it was his 3rd birthday. They couldn't move me due to it being a sell out, but they told me to just carry him through and it should be OK.
It's probably a common sense thing with the stewards on a particualr entrance rather than an official policy.

In the second half a family (mum, dad and two kids between 2-5) came and sat behind me and my lad and the steward came over and asked to see their tickets as they weren't there in the first half. Whilst the mum was explaining they were sat lower down in the first half but the smaller kid couldn't see I had to ask him if it mattered seeing how the ground was half empty.
Then a bloke sat in front of me shouted something (no swearing as I asked my lad what he had said) when the same steward came over and told him to be quiet because it is the Family Stand!
WTF! I know swearing for the sake of it is out of order and I have to admit I sometimes forget where I am at a game and the odd expletive comes out but this guy was just getting behind his team and was told to sit down
there is no need to buy a ticket at his age.i agree it is easier to have his own seat but the money you save can go on a scarf or badge for the lad.BlueDean said:OxBlue said:I've taken him 5 times this season and just carried him through the turnstile without a ticket and he's sat on my knee.

My lads two and I ve been told to buy him tickets? Not a major problem, tickets are pretty cheap for kids and its easier if he has his own seat
