Aris Fans!

To all the Aris fans.

Welcome.

As far as I know, others who have been to all the Europa cup games will confirm this, we have had no troube and no arrests. Everywhere we have traveled we have behaved ourselves and had a good sing song, drank a few beeers and mixed with the friendly locals.

Spread the word that Manchester (City) fans are friendly and look forward to meeting you and enjoying the day, the match and the night ahead, whatever the result. ;-)

Thank you very much and we are looking forward to see your support in our stadium, too. You will all be welcomed here, never worry.

The gate for all the away fans is this one; from this gate you will see the match:

Bloody hell Sergio, that proper support is that! Although we are much less noisy and colourful, a lot of fans in England really are crazy about their football clubs it's just that we have atmospheres that don't really reflect how strongly we feel for our clubs.

Maybe us English think we're "too cool" to be jumping up and down waving flags and flares and singing all game, I dunno. When you think we work long fucking hours in this country and have awful weather you'd think we'd let our hair down and let ourselves go at the football, maybe we're all depressed and don't realise and that's why we just sit and watch our teams on the whole rather than get really involved.

But we are as passionate about our clubs, especially us City fans!

Yeah I know!
As for the rest of your post I have a theory for that but it's not a right place or time to discuss it and who I am to speak about English football!
Anyway before I cut the spam I will leave you with one last photo:

Coincidence? I think not!

Question.

Do you lot have a few scoops before the match? I'm sure a pint, a gyros and a chat before kick off would go down a treat.

Any pubs or bars near or around the stadium?

BTW. For those that don't know what a Gyros is.......

Lost count of the amount I've had when visiting Greece. Beautiful. Yum. :-)

Thanks for that jrb.

For some reason, I kept getting this vision of a load of scousers queueing up outside the post office.

Hi from thessaloniki,

the problem in Greece is that the police leaves some dead zones of about 2-3000 seates for safety and to avoid riots between the fans.

hi from thessaloniki

the problem with the tickets is that police leaves a big amount of seats empty for safety reasons when away fans come to the stadium.

everyone who has questions or need help for thessaloniki can ask me. We can even meet in thessaloniki and you are welcome to visit one of our fan clubs if you want.

I will have some questions for the game in England when times come too

thank you

Hello all Man City fans!

I hope you guys can come to Thessaloniki and support your team, it will be a good experience for you guys. You don't need to worry about hooligans and that kind of stuff, Aris is not like the other clubs in Greece. We treat all visitors very well. The only ones that had some problems were those polish idiots we played against in elimination round, they just went there to fight and they ended up in jail.

Thessaloniki is a beautiful city with plenty of things to do and hope you guys will enjoy some beers at our own pub outside the stadium.

We will easily fill the section that we will get for the away game in Manchester. We were 10 000 in Munich against Bayern. We took over Olimpico in Rome when we were in the second division. In last years final we were more than Panathinaikos fans in their own stadium, we were about 30 000 in Athens that day. We are not like the other Greek fans that disappear just because they don't go well. 40 years without a title and we are still faithful. I believe you guys know how it feels.
