Yes 2 Bn Reme is the old 7 Armd workshops, Bar at the railway crossings used to be called Bernies though It had a few names whilst I was there, it used to change it's name every time the jock's got busted for drug's, ChaCha's was the slease pit of a night club.

What trade were you?
Joined up as a ground radar tech, and did data comms, networks and software down the years as well.
Yep, pension is good, signed onto the new scheme and retired on half pay with 3x lump sum. Just as well really, no sign of a job yet.

I'm an aircraft techie. Promoted to Chief in a few weeks with plenty of time left so I'll prob end up staying in.
