Armed !?

It isn't just footballers, anyone with a decent car is a target and I would say a weapon to defend yourself is of little use.
Let's be realistic, you are fast asleep when you hear a huge bang, (your front door being caved in) by the time you wake up and are able to react the shits will be in the bedroom or will have had your car keys away.
It is likely there is one of you and four of them, they are pumped up, the adrenaline is flowing and they are shouting and screaming, you on the other hand are half naked and disoriented.
If you live on your own fine, fight back, if you have a partner and children you are putting them in danger.

I would be terrified they would kill merlin so i would try and fight but in reality i would probably get battered , although it is only likely to be one person for a lady alone in a bungalow , four would be overkill !
