If this was the other way around and an Asian/Muslim anti-war protestor was attacked by a cadet, it'd be all over the press and there'd be uproar. After Lee Rigby we were supposed to take this kind of threat more seriously, but this attack seems to be being swept under the carpet as fast as possible.

Do we? Where did we get this from? Was it that he had dark skin? I don't remember any mentioning of the assailant being muslim or it even suggested, the fact that they were drunk even points away from them being muslim. It never even says the guy was asian, merely asian or black, yet you seem to have decided he was definitely an asian muslim? Don't let the lack of evidence or even suggestion stop you from conspiracy theories about racist government cover ups though.
