The players are simply not interested in playing for Wenger anymore. Wenger has let all control over this squad go really, consistently handing out contracts to under performers and perma crocks, refusing to address key issues in the squad season after season, instilling no backbone or passion in the team and so forth.

Towards the end of the season I thought he had turned a corner with their new formation and it actually working, then they go and sign Kolasinic and Lacazette relatively early on and you start to think that perhaps Wenger is not as stubborn as he once was but today is simply incredible, playing a RB at LWB and not starting Lacazette is quite remarkable even by his standards.

It looks like Wenger is trying to run the team into the ground so that whoever comes in has an impossible task and so he can sit back and think "I told you it was hard to manage at this level etc". Similar to what GPC did to the rags before he left except he managed to go out with a prem title, he just left a broken and disjointed squad for the chosen one to definitely fail with.

Wenger obviously thought he was going to outfox everyone. It just went horribly wrong. His inability to acknowledge it early and change things was his biggest mistake. But you could say the same about every manager, and especially Pep from what we've seen.

That said he should be gone since last season. Arsenal usually mess up the start of a season before doing very well till Christmas. But this year it more wrong than ever. Maybe they won't get their usual mid season good run.

Bummer.

Shows the build up to the first goal with a spotlight on Oxade-Chamberlain and Ramsey on the right walking toward the bench-side touchline. Meantime the turnover occurs on the other side of the pitch and they don't even see that the ball has been played . . .

Here's the text from Robbie Earle: "This is two professional footballers. Aaron Ramsey, a defensive midfield player. The ball's about to be played from Petr Cech. They're talking to someone on the touch line, not even watching the game. The ball's been turned over. Liverpool are on the attack. By the time they've realized it, the two players are trying to get back into position. They're never going to get there. Ramsey's a defensive midfielder, he might just have gotten near Firminho to put him off. Liverpool go one-nil up."

As I said -- this and the keeper picking his nose are what I expect from a U8 side. A total embarrassment.

Yeah they were saying the exact same on sky. Ramsey should be embarrassed he even gets a wage that was as unprofessional as you can get. Cock.

Unable to cope with the notion that things can't always go yer way. Monsieur Arse says that yesterday's performance was unacceptable. He picked the team, he managed the team for the entire week! Once these folk are outside the fabled Sky top four, five, six or eight (depending on where MANUre currently lie) it's as though someone has broken into the club and stolen the family silver, and the FA and the PL have to replace it!

When the 4th goal went in, I switched the TV off as I couldn't bear it any more.

I won't bore you with my pissed off take on things, but I do agree with everything on AFTV today.

As for Sanchez going....who cares.....at this rate we might be fighting relegation. We are not a top 6 side.

Not like an Arsenal fan to over hype things ?

May have been posted but worth a watch:

I thought that was quite apt from a genuine fan. You can see why Liverpool struggle against teams who dont give them space behind the fullbacks. Hope Mendy is fully fit for when we play them, hopefully Gundogen as well. I think that Mancini's tactic of 4-2-4-1 would be best employed as Fernadinho is going to have so much work to do.
