Arsenal 2017/18

I actually think it was both a foul and a dive, not too dissimilar to Bernardo vs Burnley (Hazard was a bit more of a flop though).
The problem is that Hazard was 100% looking to go over. I knew before the foul that if he won the ball he'd go down and I doubt I was alone. I guess as Wenger said as Sterling, (albeit wrongly) we know what kind of player he is.
Specsavers, Specsavers are you going?
Specsavers, Specsavers go there tonight.

Then you might stop posting fucking shite.

Watch what happens to Bernardo's leg. It was a foul and the back of his leg was forced down therefore a penalty. It might have looked like he went down easily, but watch it again and you see he couldn't have stayed on his feet.

Am I the only person on this planet who thinks it was a penalty

No, you're not. When I first heard about it I was expecting it to be an outrageous decision, with his arm tucked into his chest and the ball blasted at him or something. When I watched the incident, myself and my boss - a United fan - both felt that it was a penalty. Granted, he was close to the ball when it was played in but his arm was out and although I'm not saying he deliberately moved it towards the ball, I could see exactly why the ref might give it. If you factor in Dean's position, it would look pretty much nailed on from his angle. Put it this way, if it was at the other end of the pitch and Arsenal weren't given the penalty, Wenger would've been fuming so he can fuck right off for me.

A far worse decision was to award Liverpool a penalty when the ball deflected onto Micah's arm at Anfield in the League Cup semi back in 2011

Can you imagine getting away with this at pretty much any other ground in the country?

What are they meant to do? Kick his head In? Guy sounds like a knob. People around him are probably just decent, normal people and ignored him. I get what you're saying, but I don't think they did anything *wrong* for not starting a fight.

I'm not criticising them as such mate, just as observation. Like you say, the Chelsea fan sounds like a bit of a bellend.

Ah no worries man. I know. You're right though - they'd get a slap at most stadiums. Even at the Etihad.

I was sat in the United end at OT during the 6-1 game, albeit in the posh seats. Only one guy took issue with me and my old man jumping around and he stormed out after the 3rd goal. I might not have done it had I not been in those seats, but generally i don't think most people's reaction is "kick him in." Or at least I'd like to think not.

Arsenal are a weak team, both physically and mentally - just watch when they concede a goal. They look like they are victims of circumstance rather than people that can actively do anything about it

They go to pot at the first sign of things going wrong and never seem to learn from mistakes. Take Sanchez out of that team and to a lesser extent Ozil then they will be in big trouble
