You can’t tell me the way we are playing is ok. Dip in form is fine, losing games is fine but collapsing is not.

Winning in the past does not negate the application on the field now.

Getting beat is part of the course but what we are watching this season is not on imo.

This is on the whole club, the directors, the manager, the coaches. There should have been a plan in place to replace ageing players. Khaldoon always says we have a plan in place, well we've chased certain players for too long and missed out. We've not paid up for certain players and missed out and we've had to go and buy players who for no fault of their own are not at the level required.

Peps persistence in playing centre halves as full backs, buying players and then immediately playing them in a new position, trying to make Rico into something he's not, which has impacted on him and maybe he looks worse for it than he actually is. Transfixed with trying to turn midfielders into full backs and coaching any spontaneity out of midfielders that for some reason will not pass the ball forward.
And also defenders that for some reason refuse to hoof it when they need to.

We had a free kick today on the edge of our own box, surrounded by Arsenal players. We are 1-0 down having made a number of errors at the back sonwe are fragile and Kovacic gets up and tries to play a quick free kick, stumbles, loses possession and thankfully the ref blows and says retake it. Why do that, why take a quick free kick there. What is in his head and it's not a one off, Grealish did it against Feyenoord and we conceded a goal. It's not even schoolboy stuff its just incredulous.

Then we have our coaches that won't play anything other than a high line, our corners and set pieces are awful, we have no pace, no strength and no height in the team. How does this team not have an established left back in the traditional sense of one and for how long has it been. How did we not have cover for an ageing right back.
Why oh why are we going into the 3rd of February without a strong defensive midfielder and I don't think expecting the lad from Porto to come in here and solidify the middle alone when the reality is we need another alongside him.

How the hell we are in 4th spot ive no idea.

That first goal had nothing to do with Pep, injuries, age or the fact we had no DM.
That set the tone for the game.
How about you show some fight, some pride or maybe just actually do the basics of football.
We don’t press as a team anymore.
We don’t move as a team to receive the ball when we’re in possession.
We stand there static waiting for a wonder pass, which usually ends with us losing possession and then getting countered.
We can’t even make a simple 5 yard pass most of the time.
We certainly don’t/can’t defend.
Is Pep to blame?
Well he’s playing is part but you can’t blame him for some of the idiotic things we are seeing out there on the pitch.
This season has been absolutely appalling and just isn’t good enough and it certainly isn’t acceptable.
I don’t care if anyone says we’re trying, we’re lazy and are currently being outworked by every team we face.
After the this result I dread to think what’ll happen against Madrid.
I’d hope this would be a much needed kick up the arse, but we’ve been here before this season so I don’t see anything changing.

I had just buy any DM at this rate tomorrow and a RB please. Dias and Ake need to be back asap, they are the only reliable defenders we have (maybe Stones but well today...)
