I know! But the point remains. And it was a pretty infallible method because they both dominated. Just in a different way to us
Bernardo wanted to leave 3 years ago.
Gundo wasnt good enough to be offered a 2 year deal. Left for a year, came back on a 2 year deal.
Stones is simply brilliant with an appalling injury record.
KDB is the best ever for me, but the signs were there last year.
The list goes on that WE could all see that legs were going and one at a time they shouldve been let go

There is an art to knowing when the time is right and we got it badly wrong last year

He's an absolute shithouse of a player. Even in the first half Foden offered him his hand after an accidental and innocuous challenge and he shrugged it away. An arsehole who will get his come-uppance one day, as guys like him usually do.

I just thought it quite ironic (?) that the keeper deemed not to be good enough by Pep (rightly or wrongly or whatever) retired at the end of last season and is doing punditry pitch side as City ship 5 goals and is still a better keeper than the sub for the reigning champions. No slight on Carson intended.

Our fans have praised the team to the heavens for a decade or more. Equally, it's fair comment to criticise as all our current problems were foreseen by many of us on here over the last 2 years after we bought several "duds", followed by us failing to blood - or even try - our younger players over the crippled old regulars, when numerous opportunities arose starting about 4/5 months ago.

The fact that some of us speak "home truths" doesn't stop us supporting, but this is where we get it off our chests.

He's older and even more fucked..
That backing off for parteys goal was criminal..

Too long out of the game this season.
He's like our Luke shaw with regards to injuries.

Some are forgetting we are making the same mistakes over and over again,and playing the same way nothing is changing,we look worse than peps first season,lack of energy and drive and desire,yes we expected a drop off after what we have won over the last number of years,but for me it goes further than that,something isn’t right behind the scenes..
 
Gabriel did annoy me but come on, after we scored this season Haaland did leather a ball off his bonce which we all found hilarious. Of course he was going to be up for it today, it was on our players to match their energy and desire which we fell well short. There is a lot more things closer to home than complaining about one of their gobshite players.
