Unless this is a Clarkie; I'm guessing it's because VAR doesn't look at yellow card offences.

I don’t think it’s lack of effort from these sides. They just aren’t good enough to lay a glove on us. I actually thought Everton played quite well against us midweek but it just wasn’t anywhere near enough. I think we go on the pitch now and expect to win. Confidence levels must be through the roof!

Don't get me wrong Arsenal put the effort in. They just didn't try to win the game. City were out on their feet with 20 to go. Arsenal didn't even try to capitalise on the situation.
