Arsenal (A) - Post-Match Thread

Looked very jaded today but all credit too the lads for winning and keeping at it. By no means vintage today but got the job done at a tough away day. Sometimes going down to ten makes it even harder as you don’t know wether to stick or twist so fair fucks to the boys for getting the win.

Excellent away support today for a 1230 New Year’s Day kick off. Nothing better than a last minute winner at an away ground.

And nice of the Arsenal fans to take defeat with such grace that they think that throwing bottles down on the away fans is somehow ok cos you know they lost. Even more baffling is the stewards standing by and watching.

I haven't seen any of these decisions that media arseholes and Arsenal fans are moaning about. I'll watch the extended highlights later and form a view.

But if we got lucky with something, it's just karma finally paying those twats back for Malcolm Macdonald's blatant dive to win the penalty that beat us in the League Cup QF replay in January 1978. If I say Alf Grey, older Blues will fully understand.

Ederson arrogant? This from a fan of a team that tried to pass a penalty against us when we were shit. I laugh in your fucking face.
We’ve had it for years where we think refs are corrupt. The fact these cunts now think it shows where the insecurity is of a set of fans who now have nothing.

I said before the game that this would be a difficult game and so it proved. I thought we'd draw this game so to win it is brilliant. It's a fantastic result for City and puts us in the driving seat for the title and it was achieved without Walker, Stones and Foden and we missed them all today.

Arsenal were the better side in the 1st half but the game turned in 2-3 minutes. The decisions were correct.
