The only remotely controversial one was the Ederson incident, and whilst there was one pretty damning angle all of the others went in his favour. So there was no way they could overturn it.United fan on refs' chat site says:
I'm all for a VAR moan but
No idea what BT sport drank last night.
Referee team got all three big match incidents correct and they're going on like it's some huge VAR screwjob.
Embarrassing by the pundits.
Agreed, but the stats clearly show who really bossed the game. Again over 600 passes to their 280 odd. In nearly every stat group we were superior.I think a City fan must have sold his soul to the devil to get us that result!
Hilarious doesn't come close!!
Red sauce, brown sauce or no sauce at all?Missed the whole game. Late, late night. Set alarm for 7.30 a.m to get up and watch but when it went off thought sod this and went back to sleep. So all I've seen is a Guardian report that says Arsenal were the better team. And City won.
Bacon butty now and watch the highlights.
That’s Dave you plonker

H.P.Red sauce, brown sauce or no sauce at all?
Yeah, really. You're just annoyed to have been called out on your lazy trope. See also your 'weirdo' burn. Ouch.Really?
No hate towards homosexuals there, the joke is about going down on somebody, would the 70's want their joke back if I knew the name of a female diver?
Weirdo.
Just emailled BT complaints;-
"Watched the Arsenal v Man City game in the local pub and the commentary was so biased against Manchester City. I have BT for my mobile, internet and landline but I will never, never get BT Sport due to their biased commentary every time City play, even in Europe against foreign sides you will on the opposition. Keown (ex Arsenal) and McMinimum (Liverpool), give me a break".
They are posting during the stress of the match actually going on, what do you expect? We all chat shit during the game; have you heard it at the ground?! Doesn’t mean we are all clueless the rest of the time ;-)
You said it was postponed?Nothing, still on at the minute
This is what makes me laugh about the commentary, they are pretty blatantly being directed, early in the first half when we has 68% possession the pair of the co commentators were waxing lyrical about arsenal, then arsenal got the ball for a bit and mcpointy chimes in that hes been really impressed by city, we hadnt had the ball for two or three minutes, they clearly getting told when they going overboard with the theatre and making it obvious. What pissed me off was that after City equalised, for a few minutes the commentators seemed to go along with the decision, and then the sending off. But another ten minutes went by and the narrative changed, they were obviously being instructed to change the narrative against City
