Arsenal (A) - Post-Match Thread

Just back from the game. Perfect finish to shut up their moaning, classless and arrogant fans.
We walked back to the station with loads of them , they didn’t stop moaning all the way , told them I won the bingo with the amount of shit they were spouting about City. Had it all from oil money to empty seats this after coming from a stadium with half the 3rd tier empty . Wankers !!!

Firstly we should have had a penalty for Jesus getting dragged to the ground by Partey in the first half, Keown said in the commentary that it wasn’t a penalty because although there was contact he let go at the right time.
Second Bernardo is being called a diver, what’s the difference between him going down and Odegard going down?

I thought it was a very tired display by City, and as a result we were extremely sloppy on the ball - probably our worst in a long time. Arsenal are getting a lot of plaudits and by all accounts they played extremely well, but I think we saw in part the effects of their additional rest days compared to our game just days ago. We didn’t deserve all 3 points today but this side has a resilience to it and they dug something out.

Even with Arsenal down to 10 men I thought we continued to let the game just pass us by. I know there’s tons of stuff going on about the decisions but in isolation I think he got each one right. The Ederson one is very tight but there’s just enough ball in there and just a little enough man. Any more man and I think it’d be given.
To be fair, Arsenal were very good. Saka is one heck of a player, Partey bossed midfield and both full backs played well
Agree we were tired but the front 3 for us were generally poor overall. Think in hindsight, Pep should have picked Grealish over Jesus
