Would be perfect to have this game postponed.

Concentrate fully on the Chelsea game and hope the Arsenal rescheduled is pretty much irrelevant for us by then, with Arsenal still having to factor the Europa League.

I think it will be off.

To be fair, my post was more to opine that Kompany is by far and away better than Stones at this time (who is a long way from being the finished product) and must get in the team ahead of Laporte just because of Laporte’s inexperience. I wasn’t really pitting him against Nico cos Nico has been class this season and I actually would have him on the team sheet at this moment in time before Kompany truth be told mainly because his passing is so good as well as being a great defender when he wants to be. That said, Nico has made a few mistakes as well this season (West Brom, Leicester, Basel arguably) and I’m always scared that his rashness and tendency to dive in will reappear that tarnished some of his performances in his first couple of seasons here. I think Kompany will get back to near his best (if protected) and if so, then he will probably become our best centre back again (which he actually was at the end of last season).

Fair enough. Wouldn't argue with any of that :)

I just don't think Sané really fits in to a back 3 formation except maybe up front, but I reckon Bernardo would be better dropping behind Agüero. We'd have Sané, Jesus and hopefully Sterling.

Also, everyone needs a rest. Keep him fresh for Chelsea.

Yep, I don't see City busting a gut to get down there, either.

Apparently we are travelling by train on the day of the game.

Whole network usually grinds to a halt with a few flakes and both the roads and airports hopefully jammed.

Why don't they call it off now instead of waiting for last minute? Surely both clubs would prefer that. Have games on the weekend, City can focus on Chelsea and Arsenal doesn't want to get beat by us again so soon ... plus both have FA Cup weekend 17/18 March free now so just slot it in there. Sky has no game to show on Sunday either so just sort it now!

Not sure the Goons will want this postponed , they will want revenge , actually think we will have to play better than Sunday to win , although we got the job done and brought the cup home , we were nowhere near our best , KDB and Gundogan had average games on the whole , Sane,Merlin and Kun were the pick of the creative players. First goal will be vital in this game , if they score ffirst their crowd will want blood , if we score first i think they will collapse.

I feel for fans who have booked travel etcetera but the best thing for us would be for this to be called off. This would give us a decent rest for Sunday and by the time it is rearranged hopefully Arsenal's hurt pride will have healed and we will have some injured/suspended players back.

I have flash backs to when we beat Liverpool in the final. The battered us a few day's later at Anfield. We never turned up. Think Arsenal will do, or try and do something similar. I'd rather have it called off. Heavy snow forcast for Wednesday and Thursday in London. Pitch will be OK. It's just fans getting to and from the ground that might cause the match to be postponed.

Despite our win we weren't at our best Sunday. It would be nice to show them how we can really play.

I assume bring back Ederson, Zinchenko and Sterling, with some game time for Jesus. Rest VK, Laporte with Ota?

Personally I would like to see how Stones does DM in place of Ferny, other option is to try Danilo there?
