I'm in London now, theres a good 1-2 inches of snow lying around Euston station. Euston rd was eerily quiet earlier and the traffic on it was slow moving as the road was covered in slush. I'm away to bed now as I'm nightshift but I'll update again later when I head to work.

There's going to be a lot more snow across the whole country today, tomorrow and Friday, making it hard not only around the ground but for people travelling, its quite obvious that the sensible decision is to call it off and to do it now to minimise inconvenience to all concerned - reschedule for the FA CUP Q-Final weekend.

I agree the forecast for London and south I general is for more snow next 48 hours before any improvement. Call it off today and reschedule for FA cup QF weekend. Madness for people travelling in this and watching in sub freezing conditions !

Like I said before surely the spuds v dale game should be postponed first for the sake of traveling fans, then the clubs could decide what we are doing.

We all know how this play out. Wait and wait and wait by the PL even though the forecast is not looking good. Then at 7pm tomorrow call the game off claiming its for the safety of the fans.

Hibernian v Hamilton in the SPL tonight has been called off, not because of the pitch but because of the surrounding areas and the amber weather warning for snow, Edinburgh suffered similar conditions to London overnight

Sky will want the game on so I think they will give it every opportunity... fans second.

Even better for them to have it on the quarter final weekend, there are PL games on sat 17th but none on Sunday 18th so surely for them having this on the box for Super Sunday on 18th March would make more sense ... especially when they don’t have rights for FA cup and BT Sport and BBC would be showing those ... I’d have thought Sky would actually be pushing for it (postponing to 18th March) but then if they had people with that much brain ...

For purely selfish reasons i hope not, my Mrs is due our first child on the 17th of March.

There may be some agreement with the BBC and BT that Sky cannot show premier league games those weekends.

Its amazing how TV trumps everything. Most Arsenal fans wont live within 10 miles of the stadium either. Its simple for me. If transport is disrupted then the game should be off.

I remember that game against Everton that we played on a Monday night when every other game in the prem had been called off at the weekend. It should never have been played as the surrounding areas were not safe. Needless to say Sky won the day!

And where did I say to hold it in international break? Check your dates ... 17/18 March is fa cup quarterfinals weekend with teams also playing premier league games who are not involved in fa cup anymore.
It was more to do with you saying we had too long a break, as most of the players will be playing twice in that time anyway.

The extra rest may do them some good and very little harm.

No such thing for FA Cup weekends, Sky shows games for PL teams not in the cup anymore ...

Woke up to quite a bit of snow here in London, only 30 mins from the stadium. Hope they don't leave the decision until last minute

Yup it got worse today, for selfish reasons I hope it doesn't get postponed...
