Glad Sané is dropped and said during the Chelsea game that we should expect it. It’s the same pattern as last season when Sané couldn’t be arsed then either. He takes 3 or 4 weeks to kick into action.

Even with a lack of match fitness I would have preferred Kevin over Ilkay, but otherwise that is a very strong squad.

Completely understand the Sterling over Sane decision after what we saw in the preseason and the fact that he is probably carrying a knock.
