Only reason I put Kompany in there is because of Aubameyang, Pep played Vinny in both games last season even tho they were like 3 days apart.

That was when Stones had just had his 3 shocking games after coming back from injury though, completely different player to the one full of form and confidence we've got now.

To be fair, City are favourites and deservedly so. Hardly an earth shattering statement from Jurgen.

He may start, he may even be favourite to start given the minutes he put in compared to VK, but I have a feeling VK will start simply to counter Aubameyang's athleticism and cleverness in his movement. He's not as as good in the build up as the others but VK is still our fastest CB (see his recovery vs Auba in the LC Final) and most accomplished defender.

A confident Stones is a brilliant player - was the best CB in the country until his injury - I see him definitely starting vs Huddersfield. Just think tactically he may not start this game.
