Some of you City fans are so pessimistic, you're the best team in the world for a reason!

Unless our line up on Sunday includes genetically reproduced peak versions of Maldini, Baresi, Messi, CR7, Henry and R9 you are going to be favourites for a good reason.

Plus on top of this, while Wolves pissed in your cornflakes by parking the bus then hitting you on the counter you must know full well that Arsenal will go straight for the jugular and one thing you don't need to worry about is your ability to find gaps against offensive line ups.

Like I posted earlier, I'd bite your hand off now for a draw.

Emphasis is on them to win, especially with Kev, Rodri and Stones (our central controllers) all out and them being at home.

They can’t have any fucking excuses if they don’t.

Away draw would be palatable.
And they’ve got the ashburton army too. Sad cunts. We were right next to them last season, really fucking scary

.....................Eddie
Walker.....Akanji....Dias......Gvardiol
..................Kovacic
.............Rico.........Bernardo
Foden............................Grealish
..................Cyborg

Harsh on Alvarez, but a great option from the bench.
I'd say the chances of Lewis starting this game are slim to none.

Why would you say such a thing? He’s very respectful to Pep and City, especially after his time with you. A bit uncalled for, why be so tribal?
I guess you missed him kicking the ball away from Kevin when he was about to do a throw in last season. Furthermore, he doesn’t have the trophy case to backup his bravado.

I'd go with that team. Arsenal will press so we need technicians in the pivot, so I agree wholheartedly wiht Bernardo and Kovacic in there. First touch is imperative in centre mid, so Nunes is out as Pep has commented in his first touch and Rico isnt strong enough yet to take the ball under pressure.
Rico would run roughshod against them...

I see a lot of Walker/Akanji/Dias/Gvardiol but what about Walker/Dias/Gvardiol/Ake? It felt like Ake was rested on Wednesday for this game?

Or would we ever go without Walker?

I think if Doku plays, I think no Gvardiol - too much newness on one side.
Doku and Gvardiol all day long for me...
