Our biggest game of the season and some want eddie dropped lol, the arses press would destroy ortega , he is not match sharp and has a mistake in him cold , eddies long balls over everyone will be a crucial advantage
 
Get at them from the off and get a good early lead to stave off the officials later on.

Great from Pep that. Nobody cared and there were no stories regarding Gerrard being upset but there were plenty regarding his comments on Levy and the 9 clubs. Quite pointed to apologise to Gerrard and nobody else
 
Hopefully mind games by pep regarding the fitness of players but think the big man will be fine.

Definitely, Ake showed how to marshal Saka & almost isolated him in the cup game, Martinelli was more of a worry when he came on as he went on the outside of KW several times, Trossard had mostly cut infield on him in the first half and he just never adapted. So how do we get to Odegaard ? Has to be Bernie for me in a disrupter role as Philips hasn’t played enough football, maybe he does that from LB and Sunday was a precursor to this game, which means Rodri dropping into the back line more to stop us being one on one with Arsenals front three
 
If haaland is out I'd be temped to go back to last season with Foden as a false 9, either that or play barnardo and de bruyne as the double false 9 as he did against utd away last year. I don't think there defenders are cleaver enough to know where to position themselves. Either way I fancy us, I think we are well up for it and a few players looked like they had a spring back in there step on Sunday.

I might get some stick for this on here but I couldn't give a shit.

Anyway, I'm actually glad Pep apologised for the comments he made about the Gerrard slip. His comments seemed to be more of a dig at Gerrard than it was to anybody else. Although we all knew what Pep was trying to refer to with his comments. As much as I don't like Slippy it did seem to be a dig at him when in reality this all boils down to much more than that and Gerrard got the brunt of it.

Pep showed balls coming out to apologise for his comments, He will admit when he's wrong. Look at his press conference at pre Aston Villa, Not a single apology was made by Pep after what he had said and rightly so! But on this occasion he has and fair play to him.

Actually, Pep wasn’t having a dig at Gerrard per se. He was using the matter to stress how we get blamed for everything - sarcastically suggesting that surely we were responsible for Gerard’s slip as well as everything else. But the irony has been lost & he is clarifying that he was not trying to belittle Gerrard.
This point will be lost in the gleeful reporting!!
