Feeling that we'll play like the first half versus Villa, and see more opportunities to hit them on the break. Our defence will be worked hard against the almost basketball team-like Arsenal.

Agree with this 100%. Zinnys weakness was always the diagonal over his head, he wasn’t great at tracking the flight of the ball.

I’d still go for Mahrez, his first touch on a flighted ball has to be the best in world football and could turn Zinny inside out.

He's a definite weak link in defence for them.
 
Come on the boys. Crazy scenes when we go top despite not being at it for most of the year. The rest of the league and media will be in ruins lol. I'd take a draw also, I think whilst we are within a game of Arsenal - they will crack. We just can't afford to lose here. Please no overthinking for this one Pep - let's make a statement win and continue our H2H dominance. CTID.
 
I’m actually pretty confident about this game

We haven’t been at our best, hence them being front runners in this league, but I think we are just a better side than them and we’ll prove it head to head.

They had a great first half to the season but I don’t believe this arsenal side is a 100 point a season team, hence their form dropping off recently. I think they’ll drop plenty of points between now and the end of the season.

Arsenal don’t worry me. It’s us not performing that worries me. If we turn up, we’re better than them.

Arteta shat it in the FA cup and was too afraid to go full strength incase they lost against us and knocked their confidence. Doesn’t sound like a team made of steel to me, that’s why they’re getting shaky now.

Been thinking about that game a lot. Obviously we played without Rodri, we destroyed them, but what did Pep see to not play that again. Fecked if I know.

Anyway, Martinelli is the one to watch for me. Seems to make Walker twitch.

Martinelli for me, wastes too much. He's quick and gets in some good positions, but his end product isn't great.
Hope I'm not jinxing owt.

And if that happened, the reporting of the game will be how arsenal hammered us. But when other teams do that to us, they’ve played a blinder and deserved the win.
 
We're under siege. And Pep is pissed. As I think that our players are.

We're going to be ultra motivated for our games from here on out until season's end IMO.

I think - therefore - that we'll prevail against Arsenal - as talented as they are.
 
Any recommendations on routes to the ground to avoid impact of train strikes? (driving is not an option)

I agree mate. Arsenal do look quality but I think it's about time someone exposed their back 4. If we keep up the motivation, I think we'll take them. Was good to see us starting sharp again on Sunday, game could be lost in the first half against Arse if we don't.

I’d go with experience in this game, and defenders who can defend, I’d also drop Kev into a deeper role to allow him to hit early through balls like we saw on Sunday, and match up Partey & Xhaka with him & Rodri, it would also mean we don’t necessarily need a FB to step into midfield, we really need to disrupt them from the off and press them well so something like:-
Ederson
Walker Dias Laporte Ake
Rodri De Bruyne
Alvarez Bernardo Grealish
Haaland
A bit harsh on Mahrez but him & Phil have scope to be impact players from the bench
