Why No one picking Navas?! He has to play to balance the team and with him on one side sterling in the other it make us far better balance team.

We do generally look more balanced with Navas in the team, but it would probably involve dropping either Silva and De Bruyne (assuming we play three in midfield), which I imagine most people are reluctant to do.

It will certainly be an intriguing fixture as the fact is no one has really taken control of the league. The two teams most likely are Arsenal and ourselves.

Arsenal have either started badly and finished strongly or started well and tailed off in the league the past few years. They haven't sustained a title charge for some time. They are certainly good enough but there are huge questions over their mental strength.

On the other hand we are definitely under performing in terms of personnel and our defence is shambolic but we are the best side in an average premier league. The upside for us is that when we are close at the final stretch we have finished strongly.

Monday will be a huge game for both sides, an Arsenal win may help them believe they can win it this year. A defeat will hurt them .

For us, a win for us will set us up nicely for a frenetic few weeks. A draw would do us fine but we must not lose as the effect of another defeat on us would be enormous and equally an Arsenal win will give them huge belief.

I would still probably start Navas at the expense of KDB for the first half at least. We will need the extra defensive work rate. Bring KDB on later to try and kill/save the game

What about this:

KDB - Silva - Navas

Absolutely destroyed Newcastle in the space of 20 minutes

I'd drop Silva for a more direct counter-attacking approach utilising De Bruyne in the middle.

a draw would do for me.

A win would really put us in great shape, having already gone to Stoke, Everton, Tottenham, United, and Arsenal all before Christmas.

horribly tough fixture given our defensive form, we have to stop Ozil, he's having a great season

We have to make the best of what we have, but there's no doubt that Arsenal are playing the better football at the moment. Sanchez returns to training today and if he plays they will not miss the other injured players. They have one superstar in Sanchez, we have 3 in Kompany, Silva and Aguero.

Obviously Augero is a given and your giving us Sanchez to balance that, however I'm sorry but if you have superstars in Kompany and Silva (which you do) then we certainly also do in Ozil and Kos. Kos is easily on par with any of the best CM's in the league, the difference between say Kompany and Kos is minimal, certainly not enough to make one a superstar and not the other. Ozil, unless you haven't watched any football this season, needs no explaining. Basically, both teams have plenty of world class players, superstars, and also simply very good players.
