I don't expect pellegrini to do any of this but That's how i believe we should line up and this is how we should play if we want to beat Arsenal. It's also based on the assumption Aguero/Kompany won't be fit enough to play, or start at the very least.
I had Silva in for Navas because he's David Silva and the best player at the club but I changed it purely on the basis that we can't keep possession against teams like Stoke so won't see enough of the ball for him to be that influential. I'd therefore sacrifice him for the sake of the team structure as i think our only hope is to play on the counter with pace.
On paper that would be the formation but it wouldn't really look like that on the pitch though, Bellerin is very important to Arsenal, much like Zab was in our title winning seasons. For that reason, Clichy has to play and when we are out of possession Delph/Dinho would give him cover with KDB slotting in centrally.
Yaya sitting deep in the middle, with Dinho and Delph buzzing around him attempting to win the ball higher up the pitch to set us up on the counter.
If Sterling doesn't play upfront with the instructions to exploit Per Mertesloaths lack of pace and Dunne-esque turning circle we may aswell not even turn up. That's how you get at Arsenal.
As for Bony, I'm a Bony fan (seemingly one of the few on here) and believe he's simply being terribly misused by Pellegrini, this game however is no place for him apart from off the bench for the last 10-20 minutes either to hold up play or to try and grab a goal depending on how things are going.
