For the first time ever I'll deliberately give this a miss on the tele'.
Instead I'm going to hide in the cupboard and come out at full time and look at the number of posts in the match day thread.
If it's getting up towards 100 or beyond I know we've got beat, anything less than say 70 we may have drawn or even better won.

I will join you in the cupboard - if you agree - Not confident at all. I'll get the missus to bring us a cuppa at h/t.

What CITY team will turn up on Monday night?.
Will it be the ONE that crumbled in the Final against Wigan ? - knowing that the manager was on his way(Mancini) or
The one that stunned Europe with our win in Rome. - many pundits did not have CITY to win.!

I would love to see a 'sickswan' performance at the Emerates - COME ON CITY!!!!

No probs mate, see you there at about five to eight Monday night. My tipple is Yorkshire tea if you could let the missus know.
( for the avoidance of doubt for other forum members, obviously we are both card carrying heterosexuals).

Will you come out of the cupboard together?

No tiredness excuses for this one.

The way we are playing especially at the back, I can't see us getting much out of this one but you never know. A draw would do me.

Gillette Soccer Saturday: "City need to go out and buy a world class striker in January, because they only have two experienced strikers". I find this hilarious because IF City went and bought a top class striker for £30m-£50m, they would then complain and say "It's a joke. Iheanacho might as well leave, he's not going to get a chance any more. They may as well blow up their new Academy." Changing the narrative as they go along to whatever negative they can find.

Not like Iheanacho is getting that many chances anyway bar the occasional last 5 minutes or so

Why are people surprised that the 'pundits' are favouring an arsenal win when this thread is full of fucking fear we'll get beat - or in some cases 'embarrassed'?

We'll suprise everybody on Monday can see us bossing the game from start to finish yaya and silva will dominate possession and have ramsey and flamini chasing shadows! The more I think about 2/1 for a city win looks massive and might just make for a MERRY Xmas!

I just find it so hard to find a reason to be positive. Anyone we play at the moment finds it easy to expose our poor back 4 and ridiculous offside trap. Can't imagine how the likes of Ozil, Walcott and Sanchez (if fit) won't expose it.

Kolarov great going forwards but poor defensively, the centre backs are all over the show and Aguero always takes at least 3/4 games to get up to speed.

I do though think if we start Delph, Yaya and Fernandinho then maybe we will get a foothold in the midfield.

Tough game - but don't fancy city.
