That 9pm train is last one though so not a lot of spare time. Good price though, I'm tempted and at least we know they are not going to move it to Sunday now.

The last train is 21.40 from Euston I have just booked it

According to National Rail last one is 21:00.

The 21:43 (as stella6yew says above) has a connection and actually gets you in at 10:39 Sunday morning. Hell of a trip that, take plenty of beer money :-)

No but if you've got 10 hours to spare I'm sure you venture out a bit and find somewhere :-) Not that I'd recommend anywhere there.

I have just spoke to virgin trains they said it was a mistake on their part they did have a train showing for 21.40 so the have transferred my return to 2100 so no harm done really the train should not have been put on the saturday timetable they said it was through upgrading work on their site and they have had the problem with other destinations they have not charged me for the transfer.

But anyone wanting a stop over in wolverhampton get yourself up RAF Cosford they have are bar that never shuts lol only a few mile up the telford road

Nice one mate, glad you got sorted. Too right they shouldn't charge for the transfer, they should give you some compensation for the inconvenience. Just out of interest do you mind saying how much you paid for the fare. Just wondering if Virgin's cock up also offers tickets cheaper than on the 21:00. E.g. if their site shows has hardly any booked on that train it might have cheap tickets still available. 2nd thoughts I'll take a loot before everyone else tries this.
