Ake was brilliant but for Ortega to play as he did with very little game time was outstanding

Good solid first half, Comms were all over arsenal but I thought we were totally in control. Ake has been immense this season but Ortega mage great blocks, Jack was combative and great possession for the goal, Alvarez very lively. Akanji and Stones were good, as was Laporte. Erling got fck all protection but stood his ground and battled hard .

ITV do seem to go out of ther way to be knob heads to us, you think dixon was bad, snide big nosed **** clarke usual poisonous self. Pep gave him short shrift pre game.

Ake for me and he has certainly been one of our most consistent players this season. He had Saka well and truly under control and I hope that this will shut some of those negative posters up on the pre match thread!! I also thought that Grealish showed up well and one of Akanji’s best games since he joined us.

Stones injury could be a big blow for the next few games.
