All that passionate talk from Pep about come beat us on the pitch, mentioned Arsenal a couple of times too in that press conference.. yet this is how the players came out and responded. Losing is one thing but losing like this where everyone was shite is something else.

We need to freshen up the squad for sure. Only thing is that besides David, everyone that played today will almost certainly will be back next year.

I get flack when I say this, but we need to replenish before are stars run out of Amo. We always wait a year too late. Yaya stayed a year or 2 too long. Dave a year too long and Dihno and Aguero will be a year too long next season. These hanging on to our greats only stiffle the growth of the next generation. Bernado and Foden should have gotten every minute Dave played this season. Aguero should be on his swansong this year and we should have been ushering in Haaland for next season. Dihno should be done and Carnavinga replacing him. Gundogan for Havertz and Diaby for Sane.

That's before we get to the defending issues. Mendy should go. He's okay, but he's never going to be great after that injury. Bring in a starter. Even Alaba as a stopgap I'll take. Then get a Center back with some athleticism to go with his ball skills.

Let's get aggrssive again. Old players can't play the press football for long. No matter how much they try. If you want a pressing team, you need young athletes.

Yes we were utter shit and Pep had one of his nightmare days coaching but I guess we have to give the wankers some credit. That’s two games in a row they stopped the two most prolific teams this year scoring. In a weird way perhaps today’s result was a blessing in disguise The thought of our defence against martial, rashford and Greenwood is scary prospect especially in a cup final. I certainly won’t be watching a cup final between two of the hateful 8 that’s for sure. I despise them all and they can go f**k themselves.

We have given Stones, Otamendi and Mendy far longer here than we should have. Dinho is about 35, David Silva is going and Aguero is a year older.
