I said everyone was poor other than Ederson imo, but Gundogan was a ball watching in the first half and give it away consistantly. He offered no pass to our defence so they had to look long more often than not.
When we did get in behind Jesus was nowhere to be seen, just not good enough.
Although Mendy played auba on for the second goal It was marginal and the defence should have been able to do enough to stop the goal. Garcia and Laporte got turned around just like Stones and Nico.
Agree 100% but not a chance I will defend Mendy hes poor

I think there were 3 misplaced passes within the first minute, set the tone.

No complaints. Cant win the FA cup every year but whilst there were many under par performances I dont recall hearing Jesus name at all by the commentary. Think he has great individual talent but cant see him being the talisman we will need to stay at the top.

But I watched with my own eyes Mendy give the ball away over 7 times in the second half with those crosses, it was probably more! As threatening as a damp follow through.
Can't defend and his cross completion rate is less than 40%

Secondly, Did you have any faith that they should give it?
Mustafi got none of the ball until he went through Raheem.
Another challenge tonight was Mustafi sticking his studs into David Silva while Fatty Moss stood looking at. I don't think it was a red card but certainly shouldn't of let play just go on and no booking.

I think Arsenal had a good day and also a goal machine up front.I’m not saying that, I’m saying he picked the wrong team and made the wrong subs.

Disappointing night , fair play to Arteta , tactics spot on with three at the back , outthought pep tonight .
Can’t remember any team shutting us out that convincingly even in other games we’ve lost this season , usually we create a hatful of chances and get sucker punched on the break .
Never looked like scoring tonight though .
I’m not sure where It’s gone wrong this season .
Not sure I agree with posters saying we need to rip up the whole squad .
We’ve got one of the most expensively assembled squads in the world , £60 million right backs who can’t get a game .
Not sure throwing money at is the answer .
also peps purchased all these players people are now saying to get rid of , In previous posts I’ve seen people saying get rid of stones , Mendy , Mahrez , Jesus , Cancelo , rodri , Gundogan , Walker.
Maybe one or two will go like stones , zinchenko Possibly Cancelo but it’s not feasible or realistic that we will sell half the squad .
A lot of these players have also won us numerous trophy’s over the past few years.
I’m not sure what’s gone wrong but imo since the beginning of the season we’ve just not had the intensity to our game , and not just the players that’s pep included .
Honestly I’m not sure peps head has been 100% in it this season .
He’s seemed distracted to me .
And just a bit worn out .
When you think of the centurions season and last season he was right at it , this season to me he’s just seemed a bit short of ideas and almost like he’s Been going through the motions a bit .
This will be his fifth season correct me if I’m wrong ?
He’s never stayed this long at a club I believe .
He’s so intense and demands so much from himself and his players , I’m not sure he’s suited to being at a club for ten years plus .
I believe his loyalty to the board and the players will keep him here this season , which I think will be his last btw .
But I feel like there’s been a change in him and the team this season , intensity has dropped off .
Best manger we’ve ever had , and I’ll support him 100% while he’s here .
But Might come the time soon when we need a fresh face in , and some one who’s gonna commit for the next 4 5 years .

Everyone was, I just don't think he was the extent of the problem.
The reality is the way to beat Pep has always been sit deep and defend as an organised unit and counter with pace, Liverpool and Leicester have done it too us numerous times, even utd did it too us with Rashfords pace.
That was a piss poor performance. Now quickly put it behind us and focus on the Madrid game.
On the last two showings, Madrid are going to wipe the floor with us.

Although not on his own Gundogan is a liability. slows us down with the ball in attack and couldn`t tacle a fish supper.
I've always thought the criticism of Gundogan has been over the top and unjustified
But tonight he was absolutely wank… we may as well have played with 10 men
He has had some great games for us in the past but today he was just so passive.

Anywhere on the pitch its a foul with possibly a yellow card.
I'm not sure. I've seen them given for less and not given for more, but based on some of those I've seen I would have expected it. It definitely looked like a foul, but for some reason fouls in the box are subjected to some weird analytical voodoo. When we beat Arsenal in the League Cup Final, I remember Aubameyang running flat out towards our box and Vinnie surging past him and neatly turning away with the ball. I've seen Vinnie outrun all the speed merchants. At the moment we leave the door open at the back. We need to put a lock on the door.
