Arsenal fans.... a rant

Hi, Arsenal fan here. Very very UNIMPRESSED with that dogsh*te you served up against us last night down the Emirates. If you were true to your footballing hearts you would admit that Mancini's tactics are a disgrace to football. Even Stoke, Blackburn, Birmingham, Wigan etc try against us. I joked a few weeks back, when you were having one of your mini crisis, that soon Mancini will be fielding a GK, 9 defenders/defensive MF and Tevez upfront well last night at the end I could not believe you ended up with NOT ONE recognised striker on the pitch. True fans would hang their heads in shame, is this what Man City have come to these days? Soooo sad! Have you never thought how depressing and confidence zapping this must be for the players? Tevez will not be at City come the start of next season, no striker worthy of the name would be.

Us Gooners were proud of our players last night, we stayed true to our footballing philosophy and attacked you from the off. There is no question which team were the better footballing team, Barcelona you are not and will never be under Mancini, you could spend £1BN and it would not matter.
Sure everyone says Arsenal haven't won anything for 5 years and us fans are pissed off, for sure BUT Wenger stays in a job because we play attacking, exciting, good quality football with very good, skillfull, technical, fast players. If Wenger served up the crap Mancini does he would be out asap. Plus you have spent over 300million.

Another thing what totally baffles me about last night was that we have one of the poorest defences in the league and a keeper that is a bag of nerves yet they were not tested even once. It is mind blowing. At one point Koschielny went on a mazy run and was in the centre forward position!

City fans will be the first to admit that Tevez won't be here next season, but at least he's tried to be honest about it unlike big mouth Fabregas who's been trying to engineer a move to Barcelona for 2 years now.

If Arsenal want to be a consistent trophy winning team again then Arsene Wenger needs to go. You won't admit it but you're completely blinded by him.

And why is money always brought into it? You said that Wigan, Stoke etc. give you a game so why bring money into it? Do you think if we spend £300m on players then we're going to win 10-0 every game? I bet if Arsenal had that to spend they'd still do the same they do every season. "We're going to win it, next 12 games not matter who we play we'll get 36pts because we're so awesome".

And all's that can be said is look at the league table.

Ha! I have no problem with Arsenal having high ticket prices. We have fans who can afford to support their team!! Personally I would rather pay £100 to watch Arsenal kids play than Man City's so called class players. I am proud our club is run the proper way and when Financial Fair Play comes in we shall see who wins when there is a level playing field. We're not there to entertain anyone, we're there to do our job, and we duly delivered. Football isn't all about attacking you know? Defending is an art and we contained you brilliantly last night, forced you to shoot outside the box on many occasions as you couldn't break us down. With limited attacking options we were kind of forced to nullify your crafty midfield and forwards and grind it out, maybe try and hit you on the counter, but with Milner and Jo supporting Tevez we never had to pace to break in numbers.

There's been so many posts on this, but Blackpool went to the Emirates and played an open game and you picked them off with ease. We didn't have the options to play as open as you'd like, but we can adapt to attack and defence, we know more than one game plan, which Arsenal, in my opinion, don't. You have a fantastic array of talent in midfield and up front, so you kind of play with the philosophy of "Attack is the best form of defence". Mancini is a clever man, he did what was right last night, he knew he we wasn't going to beat you with an open game, so he opts for a more defensive approach to frustrate you, something Arsenal can't do. It got to Sagna and he'll be out for 3 games, which is only going to make you even weaker at the back.

It's funny how you rob our ironic chant of "Boring, boring City". Which is often used when we beat the likes of Villa 4-0, Fulham 3-1.

You lot often lose your bottle come the business end of the season, but we have the characters in our team to carry on the fight till the end.
