He promised he would sign a new contract, then demanded a move to City. Not one week after signing he's talking shit about the club and fans. Clichy didn't, and Toure certainly didn't. Nasri wound the fans up by saying we had no passion, said the club didn't have as much ambition, etc.
True or not, you just don't say that to the press. He got what was coming to him.

I suppose we have to get used to it. Everton have treated the games against us as a cup final for a couple of years. Chelsea did it earlier in the season and you should have been in the lounge at Anfield after the CC semi you'd have thought they had won everything. Part of our problems this year have been how other teams/clubs treat the games against us. Sometimes the boys on the pitch haven't handled it and us fans have for so long been used to the "2nd favourite team" bollocks. All part of the learning curve those pricks from Stretford learnt a few years ago.
