Arsenal fans celebrations.....

We would've done exactly the same in their position. We are a scalp now and we need to man up and face it head on

We would have done it in our position too.

These threads are pathetic.

They're fighting for CL and are playing a top match against title contender who recently bought some of their best players and sending signals they won't stop soon.

They score in 87th minute and what are they supposed to do?

The Arab at City has more of a long term plan than the Russian crook at Chelski did. He won't be able to subsidise the team to the same extent once FFP kicks in, but they are building an infrastructure. That should keep them competitive, but personally I can't see how it will be enough to keep up with Arsenal and United in the long run.

I would be interested to hear from City fans with a good knowledge of the plans how this is supposed to be achieved. I know about the Etihad sponsorship deal, and I think City will get away with UEFA's investigation into it. The Qatar World Cup shows that FIFA/UEFA will bow down to Arab cash, but in the long term I cannot see them getting away with stuff like that.
Errr, remind me who sponsors your stadium and shirts again, would you?
For a club with 'Arab' sponsors (you seem to use the word as an insult for some reason), and some very ropey Americans/Russians jockeying for power behind the scenes, you're not exactly in a position to throw stones at anybody's ownership

Your spot on. Arsenal deserved to beat us and their fans have evey right to celebrate. Its just the saddo element of their support who seem to think that they are somehow more morally better than us that grates. One of the biggest reason for the inequality of finance in the premier league is this idea that the top 4 get so much more money than the others. Something which Arsenal whilst never winning it have taken full advantage of.
yeah but to be fair they have the gooners have the best stadium and academy in london.

then it s spurs, west ham & charlton for developing young players.
ARSENAL are in a loop, but will be one of the forces for years to come. shame their league winning team is probably still in school for another 7 years!

Really? I didn't think it was possible after all this time that there are still fans around who think our owners will get bored.
I'd suggest you use google and do a bit of research about our owners and their plans.

if i remember correctly, i think the owners are just about to build a £1 billion dynasty provision that should make us competative for at least the forseeable future also mate!

Do you not use people's first and last names? Arab this and Russian that, it doesn't come across well!
Do you refer to United's owners as American Jews or Arsenal's shareholders as Russians and Yanks?

I'm not looking down my nose at anyone and I said ''good luck to you and Chelski''. We had money invested into our club in the 1920s and 30s. Ever since then we have managed to remain there or thereabouts without a penny of outside investment.

Chelski won't be able to do that.If you can, then fair play to you. Only time will tell if City end up like Blackburn or like Arsenal.I think our setup still means we will remain a bigger club than you, but I didn't come here for a dickwaving contest. I responded to one of your fellow Blues calling us classless.

Cheers to the fair minded City fans in the thread who could see the celebrations for what they were.

That's because you are classless!!

All you do is fucking winge on about how much other teams spend and then wonder why your players leave! Then you give out the most vitriolic abuse to those players who have left, without once conceding that the reason why they left is because you have no chance in winning the league and won't for the next 10 to 20 years.

You are a team that is content with finishing fourth!

Oh!! You also buy every other teams best young players Walcott (£10M); Chamberlain (£12M); Nasri (£15M) etc and claim you have brought them through yourselves.

The trouble is that when those players don't win anything in 3 or 4 years then they will leave.

We buy them with money we earned rather than handouts. Then we develop them. Thats how football clubs are supposed to be run. I believe in the welfare state, but I wouldn't accept someone on benefits looking down their nose at me for earning money through a paying job. I think you and me just have a different definition of what constitutes classless.
Hahahahahahaha
The Sheik on handouts, now that's class

He started well but he's definitely on thin ice.

Arsenal fans celebrating? Whatever next?

if you can't handle losing a game and a bit of banter, then football is not your game

Classless is just another stupid media created buzz word that everyone seems desperate to come out with.

Usually people with reason to be bitter and jealous resort to calling someone out on their level of class. It's bollocks and is used when there is nothing real to criticise.

Well done Arsenal, deserved win and every right to celebrate.

Class has nothing to do with it.

I definitely think he's gone too far with 'the Arab' schtick
