We haven't won anything for 7 years. We have also spent less in net terms on our team than any other club since the Premiership began. In that time we built the best stadium in the country off our own backs and never fallen out of the top 4. We also try and play good football wherever we go, including your place. Come back when you do the same at the Emirates.

The two main reasons we haven't won anything in that time are Roman Abramovich and Sheikh Mansour. Good luck to you and Chelski, but looking down your nose at a self sufficient club says a lot about you.

Yesterday's win was a good performance against a team with limitless resources that probably guaranteed us Champions League football for the 15th consecutive season. Unlike you we need the revenue to remain competitive, so forgive us for celebrating.

I don't like picking scraps on opposition forums, but you might want to reconsider your statement about Arsenal being classless.

Before you look down your nose at us and Chelsea, take a look at your own history. Your club was built on money. You poached a title winning manager and then went back and bought virtually his entire title winning team. Spending unheard of amounts of money in the process.
So you can stick your self righteous, hypocritical opinion up your arsenal.

Haha, come off it . I suppose if it makes you feel better . The building of the emirates means Arsenal are in a position where they will always be competitive (certainly for the foreseeable future) . When the sugar daddy's get bored , which is inevitable , I struggle to see how their clubs will cope , unless you have provisions in place . Now genuine question no sarcasm: do you have provisions in place ?

Really? I didn't think it was possible after all this time that there are still fans around who think our owners will get bored.
I'd suggest you use google and do a bit of research about our owners and their plans.

I'm not looking down my nose at anyone and I said ''good luck to you and Chelski''. We had money invested into our club in the 1920s and 30s. Ever since then we have managed to remain there or thereabouts without a penny of outside investment.

Chelski won't be able to do that.If you can, then fair play to you. Only time will tell if City end up like Blackburn or like Arsenal.I think our setup still means we will remain a bigger club than you, but I didn't come here for a dickwaving contest. I responded to one of your fellow Blues calling us classless.

Cheers to the fair minded City fans in the thread who could see the celebrations for what they were.

From "invincibles" except in Europe of course to now always being competitive. Oh dear. All that Champions League money and no trophies.

I love it when opposition fans say stupid things like this! It highlights that the only thing they know about our owners comes from the back pages of some sort of tabloid newspaper.

if i remember correctly, i think the owners are just about to build a £1 billion dynasty provision that should make us competative for at least the forseeable future also mate!

Take it as a compliment
it was just a laugh..... had to smile when the stoke fans did it! RVP talked of beating city in an interview last week, his words showed fear against us.

the problem i have is how shit they play against the rags and roll over..... this season we were the team to beat and it showed.

alot of media hatred and ignorant fans buying into it. i had to listen to much horsesh*t this year.

gooners hate us because we can take their players and have.
chelsea hate us because we took their place (with extra hatred).

we must learn from this!
