Arsenal fans on SSN responding to Nasri's atmosphere comment

Has anyone got a video link to Nasri saying this? Or the Arsenal fans getting all upset over it?

He only told the truth, Arsenal has never really had much of an atmosphere

What is this fucking obsession that people have with 'class' ?
Is it an obsession or is in an inclusive term that portrays the point they're trying to get across. Quit being so anal and get over it.
Oooooo! Calm down dear.
Singing racially offensive songs about a certain players father "cleaning elephants" and his mother a "whore" . Class my arse.
I thought Nasri was just stating the absolutely fukin obvious. They do lack passion and Fabregas has even come out and said the Emirates is dead compared to Highbury and that was a fuckin library.

Cesc Fabregas is is reported to have said a similar thing, with regard to the atmosphere at the Emirates, yesterday too.

Barcelona midfelder became the latest to join the chorus in criticising his former club Arsenal by claiming that he did not feel at home at Emirates.

Fabregas echoed the sentiments of French playmaker Nasri who claimed Manchester City fans had more passion than Arsenal’s supporters, laying the blame on the atmosphere at the Emirates.

How funny is that! We had all the Arse fans saying Sami was classless and Cesc left with such high esteem......and then Cesc does this. Stabbed right in the heart...!

I won't knock down Arsenal as a club on the pitch, how they spend their money or don't, their manager, etc. I do agree that it really doesn't come off on the tv at least as very intimidating when anyone goes to the Emirates. That isn't to say Arsenal couldn't knock people around with big victories but that had more to do with how they performed on the pitch rather than the atmosphere putting the scare of God into the opposing team.

I just hope that those of you that get to be regulars in attending home Manchester City matches continue to work hard in making it super hard for opposing teams to come play.

lmfao they're livid...none of their points when slagging us off were valid either...can't wait til Samir bangs in a hattrick at the graveyard this year!

I'd be very surprised if they weren't to be honest.

I'd be absolutely furious as well. To have one of their top players fuck off, and he can't use the excuse of the fact he wants to go to a competitive club as they are a top 4 team as club. He's going for, in their opinion more money, and that's just eating away at them.

Arsenal have proven themselves as a top club, we haven't yet, Wenger is a top manager, Mancini still has to convince a few people. Nasri in my opinion has shown a massive amount of disrespect to a club who has done nothing but make him into the player he is today. That doesn't sit with me.

He came for money, to be honest, we can all admit that now, but he's hear, and that's one up for us.
Great that we have him, not sure where we are going to play him, but Arsenal fans are rightly livid. Imagine of the shoe was on the other foot.

What a load of bollocks! Did you actually watch the interview - his comments have been blown out of all proportion. And as for Mancini not having proven himself as a top manager, his record suggests otherwise...

So is Fabregas going to be condemned in a similar vein?

Cesc Fábregas backs Samir Nasri's criticism of Emirates atmosphere

• Fábregas says Arsenal are missing 'special' Highbury
• Nasri claimed fans are 'not that passionate' since move

The former Arsenal captain Cesc Fábregas has endorsed Samir Nasri's criticism of the atmosphere at the club's Emirates Stadium, admitting he "never felt at home as I was at Highbury".

Fábregas, asked about the interview given by Nasri following his move to Manchester City in which he criticised the home fans' lack of passion since the move in 2006, agreed that their former home was "special".

Fábregas said: "I have never felt at home as I was at Highbury at any other stadium in the world but it was not my decision, it was the club's decision, it was what they needed in that moment.

"Highbury was a special thing that I don't think will happen any more, but Arsenal have to make the Emirates their own home now and with their own cabinet of trophies to start all over again."

Fábregas, speaking ahead of Barcelona's Uefa Super Cup match against the Europa League winners, Porto, said he had been nervous watching Arsenal's win over Udinese in the Champions League on television, but backed his old team-mates to make real progress this season.

"I watched it and became a bit scared when they scored and got the penalty, but I think after we saved the penalty the game became more comfortable for us and I think we played very well.

"I'm very happy for Arsenal and their fans because they deserve to be in the Champions League. It's a big boost for the club and the players, because it is a very difficult season and I am sure from this they will get so much confidence they can move forward"

He was already well known as one of Frances top prospects and one of the best players for his team when Arsenal signed him

Plus if ells bothered to watch the video he would see that Samir says a lot of respectful things towards Wenger. Besides it's never the fans that make a player what he is and in everything else he's shown respect.

Err the shoe was on the other foot and had been for all my life. We've watched our top players get sold to bigger clubs for money that we needed for at least two decades.
Arsenal haven't needed to sell their best players for financial reasons like we had before the sheikh. They are selling and just not doing anything with the money that they get. We've give them over £50m in two years and they've bought the cast of Children's Ward. Not our fault they don't sign players that keep competition for places up and develop squads into contenders.
So I suggest they shut up.

Roberto has said that he wanted to sign Nasri a year before Wenger did, but Inter wouldn't stump up the cash (Interview currently on city's OS)

Thank you, Gaylord. I know I can always rely on you.

There's a simple reason why Nasri left and it is not just money.

He's outgrown Arsenal! He, like loads of fans are just sick of Wenger's strategy of only buying young player to develop.

It has been said before but just imagine if Wenger had bought Schwarzer with Cahill or Samba last Christmas. They could've won the league let alone finished 4th.

If they win sod all again this year Van Persie, Walcott and others will be thinking the same!

Just to clear a few things up.

I am very aware that Nasri was a top prospect for France, and was doing very well for Marseille, and did well, but he signed for Arsenal when he was what, 20?
He was an excellent player with the French side, but Arsenal made developed him into the top player he is.

Ya he put in a few compliments as well, but I hate it when players are disrespectful leaving clubs that have done them well.
They get paid an incredible amount of money, which you think would be enough to get them to keep their mouths shut. He's a great player, and in time he'll become a great City one. In my opinion he should have thanked the fans for all their support and then fucked off. People paid a hell lot of money to see him play. The least he could have done was bit his tongue, especially now that he's back tracking over it.

It's a pity more couldn't leave in the style that Shay Given did.

I also said I can understand why they are livid when it seems to them that he only left for the money.
Especially when you consider while he is a starter at Arsenal, there is a very real chance he could be on the bench for us.
It is our first time we qualified for the CL, Arsenal are as likely to win something as we are. It's not like they are a weak side.

He will I'm sure become a top City player, but I'd be incredibly annoyed if one of our lads fucked off in the morning and acted the way he did. I'm sure we'd all be.
