Arsenal Fans Today

Their dislike for City is almost childlike. I have the displeasure of living in an area where the two local clubs are Southend and Colchester yet a vast number support Arsenal rather thasn their local club.

When they rant the usual rubbish about City, money, runining football, I highlight their clubs own role in the formation of the Premier league, threatening to form a super league if they didnt get a dispropertionate amount of TV revenue, and also highlight they are happy to cherry pick clubs such as Southamptons best players.

I think the REAL thing that irritates them is that some of us tend to think of Arsenal as being just our 'feeder club' ..... that MUST bug them no end ..... they like to think of themselves as being a 'big club'.
 
I think they've improved over recent years. I used to think of them as a quiet and dull bunch but their repertoire is a lot better now, they're much louder now - indeed louder than us for nearly all of the match. They're bitter as fuck though. We've bought players off them, we paid very good money, if your board or Arsene won't spend it, not our fault.
 
Never really get annoyed by opposing fans but agreed that Arsenal fans were the most arrogant I've encountered at a game today. I heard the usual " We pay for your benefits " and " you live in a Shithole " chants but the made up City sing just made them look seriously bitter and it was cringeworthy. For a team that hasn't won fuck all for 7 years I would keep my head down. Are they more obsessed than rags about us?


Most of them were called Tarquin too, honest!!

They have the cheek to make up songs about our money, yet their Billionaire owner along with Wenger won't spend a penny unless they have to sell a player first.

I won't even go into the ususal "where were you when you were s*** chant.

Anyway, it's was nice to see/know how much it really meant to them when Arsenal scored. Anyone would have thought Arsenal had just taken the league titile off the Champions. ;-)

There is nothing wrong with our away support. If you had a go at our home support you'd have a point, but our away boys are good.

Would you prefer 800 fans from Wigan or Fulham, or maybe a half full away enclosure of new Chelski fans?

I never criticized your numbers.

It's that arrogant and righteous manner that comes across.

Like Arsenal fans can really question our support and our history. (go on then)

F*** me, Arsenal haven't won a trophy for 7 years. Let's talk about the last 7 years of your history.

Then we get the jibes about money.

Wait a minute, remind us again what Arsenal fans were singing at the Emirates a few season ago.

"Spend some f***ing money!"

Unfortunately Arsenal (and Totternham fans) display that well known London arrogance and the big I am attitude far too often. That's what I don't like.

As for banter. Yes there was some decent banter at times without the..... you come to expect from Arsenal fans.

Cunts the lot of em. Fucking cheeky cunts waving the notes at us. I did smirk however when they did the Poznan. Karma is dish best served cold!! It will be going to them in barrels soon.
 
The most bitter and twisted set of fans in the country. Like the rags they are a set of fans in their managers image.

Long may their trophy drout continue.
