Arsenal were the first to challenge the north in the 20s and 30s.

You mean when you cheated to stay in the league, the bought the manager and much of the first team of Huddersfield, who were the most successful club of the time, so that you might win a pot or two?

Well, I for one am impressed. Well done on being far better than us in that respect.

Arsenal fans should have been celebrating a win tonight not a draw.I find it hilarious that they were happy with a draw.I remember when city were getting destroyed 4-0 AFTER 15 minutes at maine road by arsenal reserves

No, no cheated TO GET IN the league.

All away fans are the same, take the piss of of the opposition constantly. If you can't handle that, you should probably sit at home. And as we all know, a lot of football chants may be factually incorrect, it's just how it goes. Whenever my brother goes to a game, he tries to sit as far from the away fans as possible as he also gets wound up, I don't really mind it. We hear a lot of shit from the opposition fans, doesn't really bother me.

Love them or loath them - they deserve credit for being so vocal for ninety minutes.

Shame we weren't.

Worst big game home atmosphere in a long time, there was a bizarrely somber mood at the ground today... I think everyone had been watching the rags cheat their way to victory before arriving. South Stand was quiet again, Kippax got some songs going though.

I have to agree, but that is the problem with glory hunters. The atmosphere will be louder on Tuesday with half the attendance.

I never said we got to the top in a more ''honourable'' way than you. Most successful clubs get there that way.

I was pointing out why northerners dislike Arsenal and Spurs fans. You never get northerners whining about Palace or QPR fans, even though the people who follow them are likely to be very similar to those at AFC or the yids.

They bang on about 'class' and how arsene is a gentlemen but in reality they are deluded, mouthy, bitter fucks.

The booing of all their ex players is just a nasty and horrible thing to do
