Actually thought we were half decent in the 2H. We should note both keepers played very well. Alvarez a bundle of energy as usual; Jack very fine; Ake best defender plus the scorer. Hope Stonesy is ok.

We controlled the whole game and particularly last half an hour.

Wasn't the humdinger I was expecting but we got better once Alvarez and Walker came on. Arsenal ran out of steam and we saw the game out comfortably - easier than I expected. Ake and Ortega our best. Grealish and Rodri also to the fore. With Stones out injured I think we'll see Walker starting again. DIxon and MAtterface were insufferable.

I’m torn between “a win is a win” and being disturbed by how poor we were for long periods especially first half and just after half time.

Tonight was the first time I’ve thought Haaland looked visibly pissed off at the balls not coming into him.

Tbf haaland also needs to get better at holding the ball up and linking play. Still very much a work in progress
