Arsenal (H) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

I am not actually doing that. I factor in bad days when i look at fixtures other than you guys we have had most of our toughest fixtures. Here is the thing i think you guys will drop points to. I think if both sides play close to full potential City wins. But while Arsenal seems to be in sync i don’t get that sense when i watch this years City in comparison to other versions of your teams. I got say it you guys look tired and complacent, i could be wrong it could be early season rut; not expert on your team one reason i joined here to get insight on you guys from your fans

Aside from 2 against us, you still have to go St James Park (maybe the toughest trip in the league currently) and Scouserfield (where you havent won since pre-Magna Carta). There are numerous other banana skins. Same goes for us, but we are old hands at this chase-down game. I'm not saying it will happen, but that game at Emirates is going to be like Everest for you - you have lost 13 of last 14 to us and havent won a league game in 8 years. That's a huge mental barrier to cross and if you lose that game, you'll feel us breathing down your necks like a dragon's flame.

As for the bolded, I can forgive you for that as obviously you dont watch us remotely as much as we do ourselves. But I would say that apart from the Centurions year when we tore the field to shreds from day 1, we have been written off in every other title year. 2012 we were 8pts behind with 6 games left and the media was already 7/8 up the Scum's arse. 2014 of "this will not slip fame". 2019 the scousers had won the title by xmas, 2021 we were mid table until we won 15 in a row in mid-season, and last year the scousers were chasing us down like a rabid pack and leaving us for dead. Each time those know all pundits were "they dont look the same as before". So i'd say beware the wounded citizen

A lot of posturing on both sides , imo we have to take at least 4 points off Arsenal to stand a chance , can we do it ? Of course we can ! Can Arsenal do it ? Of course they can ! It’s going to be one interesting run in , I’d expect an upturn from us after the Cancelo affair , I’d keep an eye on Dyches mob this weekend - worth a cheeky tenner on Everton causing an upset!

Ok you back Boehly model but i think it is a recipe for disaster. Who are these imaginary Gooners laughing at you guys for Yaya we wanted him didn’t have the money. Or De Bruyne? I never actually criticized your clubs purchases in fact complimented them. Do you read my actual posts or are you just angry i am an Arsenal fan? There was no laughing at City for any of those signings you made not by me, i was jealous we didn’t have the money to make them
Boehly's "plan" is ridiculous simply because he is paying beyond sure thing prices for players who are nowhere near sure things, i.e. Cucurella, Koulibaly, Sterling, etc. etc. Contrary to the popular hype Enzo is far from a sure thing and at his absolute best may never be worth over 100 million pound let alone now. Mudryk is a borderline project going for 85 million +15 in add ons. Most expensive mid table team ever...LMFAO

I don’t count you guys out though. I think it is a very close call one way or the other. I am not an expert on your teams but since i like good attacking football i do watch your teams from down the years. Those teams dropped games in past but usually on those days the other team was beneficiary of snatch and grab or clinical counters.

This team to me doesn’t control as much possession or seem to create a ton chances. Silva, Foden not playing very well with Haaland. Again i would love to get your thoughts on these specific criticisms because i do watch you guys but don’t profess a deep knowledge. This is just a sense i get from lets say watching 65 percent of your league matches

I'll laugh if he leaves on a free...
He ain’t leaving his big hold up was seeing us be a CL team. I don’t have inside knowledge but from what i have read the deal is getting done once he knows he is done with the Europa league garbage and a few details were worked out. Why would he turn down a massive pay increase from his boyhood club to play on half wages if Arsenal are top 2 even. I honestly think we will resign all the young stars for the most part. Could be wrong can’t predict future but i see it as unlikely.
