I know we mainly accept what goes on in football, but how did Gabriel get away with what he did today?
Not in the same league as Bernardo who has already lifted one trophy this season.Yet many of the pundits are forcing Fernandez’ 8 goals for the PoTY!
Would be beautiful if they drop points against the happy Hammers to hand City the title, whilst relegating Spuds courtesy of the point they earned against us.West Ham say hi
The handball, ripping Haalands shirt or the blatant headbutt?I know we mainly accept what goes on in football, but how did Gabriel get away with what he did today?
You’re both mental.Bit harsh on Semenyo, he wasn’t great but he wasn’t a 4. Id also give Nunes an 8. Other than that I think you’re spot on.
Are you saying it's not safe for away fans at City?Get in there! Tough, tough game, all the built up momentum collapsed when Donnarumma fucked up. Struggled to regain composure and control for a while after that but got there in the end. The big players who have been there before produced when it mattered and that was ultimately the difference today, Bernardo and Haaland in particular.
It's on now, got to show the same desire at Burnley and every other game after, plenty of difficult games, can't be relying on Arsenal bottling it, they gave us the chance, it's now on us to show we want it and deserve it by taking it.
Fans were great, their fans were seriously poor even when it was 1-1 and they were arguably on top, still barely heard a peep, at the end when they're desperate for a goal, piling pressure on, their players repeatedly urged the away end to make some noise, give a big roar as they get a last minute corner... nothing.
Police proper fucked it outside, not neccesarily in yhr actual ground but they should have kept them within the fenced off away section for a short period instead of letting them out freely, plenty of scraps up and down yhe new road and then the police made it worse by creating a sort of divide along the pavement which fed straight into the home fans coming out of the south stand.
3 or 4 times before that Gabriel should have been booked, Ripped Haaland's body vest arm off and pulled on Haaland's shoulder on the far side ? Haaland said if he goes down, it's a red card ? Well next time go down like you have been shot, roll about, scream, call for the stretcher, because 1000% Gabriel would have doneI know we mainly accept what goes on in football, but how did Gabriel get away with what he did today?
He talks shit him.
I agree on Gabriel. I don't think Odegard had that bad of a game. I don't think he was at full pace but he definitely set up their high press. Havertz should have been pulled instead of Eze. Eze got pulled when he actually started to do something. All of us watching at our supporters group were looking at each other like, what? Rice was decent but he doesn't know anything about working the ball into the final third and making it count. The difference was Rodri, Bernardo and Cherki. Cherki would drop deep to pick up the ball. Rodri was in the middle playmaking and also setting up final third play and Bernardo was also dropping deeper into our defensive third and moving the ball forward.Haaland has got onto Gabriel's head. He was too concerned with trying to control him in a physical battle rather than through football. He was too obsessed with demonstrating to Arsenal fans that he had bossed him. Erl scored so demonstrating that Gabriel's efforts were totally wasted.
Throughout the game our big players all stepped up whereas the likes of Rice, Odegard and Havertz were found sadly lacking
Haaland got in Gabriel’s head and he bottled it..Normally I'd agree with you but arsenal deserved nothing, particularly second half.
Both teams hit the post twice, both keepers looked very suspect but your midfield were totally over ran.
Its a sprint now but you were let down badly by your right back and Gabriel
No. I'm saying tensions were always going to be high after this particular high stakes game whatever the result. I think back to the title deciders with the dippers under Klopp, those vermin were made to wait behind whilst the crowd dispersed before being released. And we've been kept back at away grounds too.Are you saying it's not safe for away fans at City?
So we've been hearing all about how Rice and Gabriel are so good and nailed on for one of them to be player of the season. Well they've been well and truly ragdolled in the last two games with us
Bernardo Silva is a truly outstanding footballer. I've said it time and again - he came to us as a flighty winger/number 10 and he's adapted to become a proper gnarled midfield general.
And Nico O'Reilly is going to be the first City academy player to win balloon d'Or
It was Nunes.. nuff said. But how many times does Donnarumma make a mistake like that? Don't really understand why the ball was thrown to him from the throw in anyway.
