Arsenal (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

What this manager and this team have given me, I can literally stop watching football and for the rest of my life go back and watch City games again and again. It would be fine, no regrets. I mean it...

I have no words for all the boys dying out there till the final second so as to deliver for the cause, for all of us. Particularly the ones who cannot be there all these years. Those who are struggling and suffering from a distance, exactly like they do. That's what they have done. We didn't ask for this, but we live our lives through City now. That's our fate. There's no choice any more, not for us there isn't. Pep and his boys should know that...

I have no words for all the clowns pretending to be City fans, who will not hesitate to point the finger at the first mistake a player of ours makes. Tonight the scapegoat would be Donna, tomorrow somebody else, surely. People who, after everything they've witnessed all these years, seriously (?) believe Pep has nothing else to offer, they want the man out. They've been exposed time after time, but they'll keep embarrassing themselves, nothing will change. It's the way of the world...

I'm not going to talk about Taylor either. There's no point. The club has accepted this situation from day 1, it has become City's reality on the pitch. You know it, I know it, Pep knows it, you can bet your lives everybody in that dressing room knows it. It's not just the opposition, not just a certain team we're playing against. There are more. Always has been, don't expect it to change any time soon. It's what it is...

Pep's City made us cry once again tonight. A team that has faced unbelievable problems, a team with significant limitations decision makers failed to adress. Still a team that is determined to fight till the very end, with players prepaired to die on the pitch. For their manager, their teammates, for all of us, as I've already said. Guardiola keeps operating as a magician. I've seen good managers collapsing with like 20% of the problems he's dealing with, not him. He keeps providing solutions, proving everyone wrong. No coincidence the most intelligent of City's enemies in the industry are literally praying for him to quit, fuck off England. I will say no more...

After everything we've been through this season, to be in the position we are at the moment, is already inconceivable. City are looking ahead for the impossible. I'm not even going to spell it. Whatever happens, what I do know is that I'm going to be there to applaud. And I know I won't be alone in this...

Congratulations to everybody in that dressing room, even the ones who did not participate tonight. Proud of them all. Good luck wholeheartedly. Come on City!
Well said mate,nice one

Semenyo was bloody awful in the first half. I posted that at half time, the one and only time I've had a bad word to say against a player during the match, and I didn't slag him off, I just correctly said he'd been awful, not like the dickheads who were calling for Haaland to be hooked or Donnarumma to be taken off at half time.

But congratulations on the work you must have put in to dig that nugget out.
Without any doubt you would have to be blind if you didn't think Semenyo had a poor game today and should of been subbed off first. He's settled in great since signing for us any player can have a off day.
Remember Khusanov at home against Chelsea and look how's that's panned out.

Anyone in here from the match thread should fuck off right now. Absolutely disgraceful how you did anything BUT back our lads to get through this.

Where would we be now if Haaland had been hooked, as some suggested?
Really? Bunch of thick twats

Just seen motd. Wow how the hell did Gabriel headbutting haaland result in Haaland and pep getting booked. Absolutely baffling
Anthony red Taylor made help you understand the equation

Stupendous!

I usually watch the telly with the sound off, while the music on the radio is on.

Gigio starts throwing the ball to NOR while Baba O'Riley played at the same time, and as Nico was running up the music sound intensifies (duhn! duhnduhn!) till Big Erling scores. Yeaaaahh!!.
Awsome! I kid you not.

Donna was the only player not marked.
You delay the throw until someone is free.
It wasn't even a good throw. If we here on this thread think Donnaruma is not great with the ball at his feet, it should be obvious to the players that are training with him every day.
I'm not making an excuse for Donnarumma because it was terrible control but just don't give a top team like arsenal any hope.

Donna is fine with his feet but we are used to Eddie. Big mistake but his reaction was immense

I told you cunts in the pre match they’d come and have a proper go. There was absolutely no way they were going to come and camp on the edge of their box and play for a 0-0.

The usual loons jumped in and showed again they don’t understand the game.
The fact that they didn’t come for a draw perhaps tells us a bit about where their heads are at - they didn’t fancy their chances in the run-in, even with a 3 point lead…
