Arsenal (h) Post Match Thread

Playing Fern at the back was a 50-50 success. It allowed us to dominate midfield when Fern strode out and we went to 3 at the back, but the Arsenal equaliser was a gift and very poor defending. Would that have happened had we had Laporte and Stones together? I doubt it.

And the shock value of that goal transformed the game for half an hour until the crucial goal before ht

I think you might be right. Just about deserved too although we were poor for about 20 mins. Don't forget we could have been three up inside 10. Second half performance was much more controlled and we perhaps should have added to the scoreline.

A mate of mine knows Craig Dawson quite well and has spoken to him on many occasions.
“A fucking nuisance” is his favourite description of Sergio .
Maintains he’s the best he’s ever faced .
