Arsenal (h) post-match thread

Apologies if already mentioned. But how come Alty Rag got all his angles wrong ( never once manage to get between us and the next pass) all night. Clearly off the pace for the penalty not supported by VAR surly the pull back started outside the area. He didn’t spot the Arsenal player closing in on Mahrez so why a straight red. Terrible night then made worse by his mate Friend not trying hard enough last night, alty rags sacrifice all for nothing

you could argue that the reason the Arsenal player was closing in on Mahrez is because he’d been pulled back and if not slowed down then no one else would have been close enough to Mahrez

I still don’t think refs should be allowed anywhere near a ground they live so close to. They can’t win either way

Not sure if mentioned but anyone notice Alty Taylor didn't have the vanishing spray in the first half. Our free kick after couple of minutes you can see him reach round both sides of his waist trying to locate it. Second half his vanishing spray has not vanished as he remembered to velcro it on or whatever they do.
Just another example of incompetence in my opinion.

If I recall correctly from the stadium tour, the running track when the stadium was built for common wealth games is level with top of first tier. The pitch is below ground level, and was dug down to accommodate more seats and get them closer to pitch.
Yep, there was only the 2 tiers on what is now the Main and Colin Bell stands when originally built.
