Arsenal (H) | Post-Match Thread

we are almost the total perfect team ?
i say almost because of the striker leading the line. but the truth is the whole team can score or play that role

arsenal before the start of the game fancy getting something today ? but from the whistle to start the game all of fans players of arsenal wanted was the final whistle. they knew that this city squad and team are head and shoulders above them

i never feel sorry for another team or manager because we (manchester city) and pep are teaching you a lesson that you should take away and watch ? the ball is yours never ever lose it or give it away. because there is nothing the other team can do if you have the ball

today nobody of the city team really stood out and looked man of the match in fact ederson was not really here and sloppy and needed waking up. but apart from that the whole team work so hard for each other and make it look so easy ? scary thing is KDB foden stones are not playing wow

Really pleased to see Sterling looking sharp again. Was dying for him to get a goal but I’m sure they will come if he keeps getting in those positions.

Fantastic from city but arsenal where an absolute shambles my pre match prediction of a draw was about as good as arsenals defence. Can’t wait for AFTV later.

Lastly if we let Bernardo go now a striker isn’t coming in I’m gonna be fuming, we must keep him at all costs
same, i didn't realize how poor they were defensively. predicted 0-0 with sterling missing a 1v1 and their keeper having a blinder. Their keeper was alright so 2/3 :). Feel bad for Arteta, looked like he was going to be sick after 1-0
Everyone on the pitch was excellent, little bit of a quiet half from Walker and Ederson lost the plot for 5 minutes but thats about it. Bernardo must stay.

Last season we went for Ben White and Brighton said they wouldn’t sell to a sirect rival. I think Brighton will finish midtable this year so they stuck to their word.

I am not so concerned about Berni, but I think Jesus's movement is so important to the whole system.
Disagree re Bernardo. He was superb today. KDB will likely miss more games this season and we can’t afford to lose Bernardo‘s energy, defensive output or ball retention.

He is so important to us even if his stats aren’t as impressive as others.

Let's be honest. If you were feeling a bit down after events of the past 10 days or so, and you could handpick the next opposition, who else would you pick but Arsenal?

One of their lot posted on here that they were hopeful before the game.
