I think some city fans on here need to find a new hobby as this modern football really isn’t for them.

I know it’s far from ideal it will be my first game missed in a few years..but the players and club are up for it and want to play, it’s a sign that things might be on the first stage of getting back to normal in the world, and it’s a chance to have a few beers and watch the blues after feck all being on tele for 3months so if you can’t get just a little bit excited for that then like I see Maybe this modern football ain’t for you.

Hopefully, but I can't see it. A vaccine, even if lucky enough to get one, by December would be a world record. Then it has to be produced, distributed and people monitored who have had it - simply not possible in 3-4 months in my opinion*

*my opinion is worth very little

It is my right though to be totally pissed off with the whole charade. When 1000s are allowed to go to Primark and queue to get in, it fucking irks me that once again match going football fans are treated like we don't matter. But I will let that drop because I have been told off about posting on this thread.

As a Blue of 44 years this has to be the least excited i've ever been about a City game, and that's including pre season friendlies at Raccy Boro.
No supporters, drinks breaks, 5 subs, var, quarter past fuckin eight, not match fit, piped noise. The list could go on and on.
However, after a hard day grandad-ing i've just sat down with a beer and fired up the magic telly box in preparation for the game.
City v Arsenal in a must win game would normally have me going to bed and waking up thinking of the game with excited anticipation, but not today.
Today i will be watching with a sense of curiosity, interest, and a big dose of cynicism.

Who knows but they are being produced and stored now, so if by autumn one or some of them are given the green light they are ready to go.

In the last game i watched a couple of days ago the guy doing the sound effects should've been MOTM.
In fact, wondering what noises were coming next was more fun than the football..
