Yeah, I think you're right. I misinterpreted his post. But that would still only get us to 89 (?) pts, if we go 5-1-1.Think they mean lose and draw (IE one loss, one draw) in the remaining games.

I make it that, if we win tonight, we can afford one defeat OR one draw. Two draws would get us to 90 pts, which is what Arsenal can theoretically achieve.Shouldn’t it be lose one or draw two?
Be careful mate - the Dippers will nick those 9 points off you and claim 4th spot.Setting off from Brighton in a minute. More worried about the drive ,there and back than the game..... I'm on 9 points

I agree with all of that, but that doesn’t contradict the wider narrative being formed by the media and rival fans that they are “bottling” the league.
That exists regardless if it actually makes sense.
And make no mistake, if we beat Arsenal tonight, that narrative will really begin to consume them, specifically because they will have thrown away a strong position.
Why not? Sometimes you play badly and don't win a game, it happens in sport.I don’t disagree, but at least Villa has talent. We can at least now see how they managed to hang with us. The Forest game i won’t be able to make my peace with unless we win the league.
