Arsenal Post Match Thread.

Didnt see any if the game ..seen the goals and that is it......how did we play as i dont trust the media reports.....
 
Apart from the shocking defending in the run up to their goal, I thought we played very well and thoroughly deserved the win. Nice to see us beat a top side and to come from behind. Good performances all round apart from the first 5 mins.
 
I am sticking by my opinion that the first half performance was too comfortable for Arsenal in both the way we conceded (Bravo wasn't to blame though) and us an attacking threat. But the gaffer was happy with it so fair enough.

Just a few thoughts:

Sane has so much raw ability. Young players who can ghost past good defenders and make it look easy, clearly have the ability to be top class.

I have never witnessed Yaya perform with such energy when playing at a weekend after playing midweek. He appears to be fitter than ever. Just a shame he's lost the explosiveness.

I thought Silva and De Bruyne were way below their usual standards. However, great assists from both.

Must have been difficult for De Bruyne to perform to a high standard when the attack lacks a clear focal point.
 
Very good second half. Good comeback and thoroughly deserved win.

Sloppy goal to give away again but after that we dominated.

I thought Toure was excellent second half.
 
Have to say I wasn't confident at all going into this game,and more so after Walcott scored,but by fuck fair play to pep and the lads second half couldn't fault them,if we can just find that consistently each game..On to hull and hopefully the same performance and three points..

Totally agree.. seems that if your ahead at half time you must have been the better team in the first half. We were not great first half but what did arsenal do after the goal!? Nothing.. Danny Mills is the worst on the BBC app saying drastically improved second half.. what a knob he is
